For those of you who are a little late this year when it comes to booking your next trip, I’m spotlighting a beautiful villa set above the beaches of Bidart in a peaceful, pine-clad environment which has just become available to rent for the first two weeks of July and after 9^thAugust. The villa is set in a quiet lane surrounded by nature and has a real surfer, laidback hacienda vibe with the main living quarters surrounding the pool. There are spacious covered verandas with hammocks and a barbecue for those lazy days and siesta times!

The owners have ensured their home feels cosy and lived in and is a little quirky.

There is a huge living area and a large bar that divides it from the kitchen. Large bay windows open to both sides of the house giving a real living outdoors inside feel.

The villa is for 6 people but if there are teenagers, it could sleep 8. The sleeping arrangements are such that there is a double bedroom on the ground floor with bathroom. Upstairs there is a master suite and then two double beds in a mezzanine area.

In 10 minutes you are on the beaches of Bidart, 10 minutes in the car to Biarritz and the airport and 20 minutes from the Spanish border.
